Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the BOD of ETCC, reviewed the Council’s achievements and the results of the NAFIS program over the past three years aimed at boosting Emirati participation in the private sector.

H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the BOD of ETCC, reviewed the Council’s achievements and the results of the NAFIS program over the past three years aimed at boosting Emirati participation in the private sector.

During a meeting with the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council team at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi, H.H. Sheikh Mansour was briefed on updates and key initiatives implemented by the Council this year to achieve its objectives. By the end of July 2024, the number of Emiratis in the private sector had exceeded 113,000, with around 81,000 citizens joining the sector since the launch of the NAFIS program and remaining employed as of the same date.

The team also presented the financial and economic impact of the NAFIS program and its transformative role in changing perceptions regarding Emirati employment in the private sector.

H.H. Sheikh Mansour praised the Council’s efforts and the qualitative initiatives implemented to support and empower Emirati talent to work in the private sector. He commended the collaboration between the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council and its partners from both the public and private sectors, emphasizing the significant role this cooperation has played in advancing Emiratisation in the UAE. H.H. Sheikh Mansour directed the team to intensify efforts to further enhance opportunities for Emiratis in the private sector workforce.

H.E. Ghannam Al Mazrouei, Secretary General of the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council, expressed his gratitude for the support of H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and the continuous follow-up by H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan to achieve the Council’s goals and aspirations. He reaffirmed the Council’s commitment to implementing the wise leadership’s directives by preparing, training, and employing Emiratis in the private sector.

H.E. Al Mazrouei also emphasized the dedication of the Council’s team to achieving further milestones and delivering results that align with the leadership’s vision, in collaboration with strategic partners.
