About

The Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (ETCC) is the UAE’s national authority dedicated to advancing Emiratisation in the private sector. Established in 2021 under the leadership of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, we set the vision, strategy and policies to ensure Emiratis can succeed and thrive in roles that are competitive, future focused and vital to the nation’s economic growth.

Our role is to create the conditions for long-term success by building an employment culture where Emiratis are valued for their skills, innovation and leadership. We work with employers, educators and industry leaders to align talent development with market needs and to create opportunities that strengthen both the workforce and the economy.

Our Roles

  • Lead national strategy and policy for private-sector Emiratisation
  • Use research, data and market insights to guide workforce planning
  • Design and deliver initiatives that enhance skills, leadership capacity and career readiness
  • Partner with employers to improve recruitment, retention and advancement of Emiratis
  • Promote attractive private-sector careers for current and future generations

By investing in our people and fostering a competitive and sustainable talent ecosystem, ETCC is helping to build a knowledge-based economy that reflects the UAE’s vision for lasting prosperity.
