On this occasion, His Highness congratulated the winners of the award, wishing them success in continuing their excellence. He also expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the partners of success for their efforts in supporting the goals of the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council and the nation’s vision regarding Emiratisation targets in the private sector.
His Highness exchanged conversations with the winners, listening to their experiences and success stories in working in the private sector, as well as their achievements and initiatives that qualified them for the award.
The President emphasized the leadership’s commitment to encouraging Emirati talents to continue their excellence in the private sector across various fields and professional specializations, strengthening their role in this vital sector and contributing to driving the country’s sustainable economic development. He also stressed the importance of motivating private sector institutions that contribute to enhancing Emirati participation, instilling a culture of excellence and competition in the labor market, and recognizing the efforts of these institutions in supporting the leadership’s initiatives for Emiratisation.
His Highness stated that the roles of the government and private sectors are complementary and clarified that the private sector is an essential pillar of the national economy, a main partner in achieving the country’s ambitious development vision, and in advancing the national economic system.
His Excellency Ghannam Bati Al Mazrouei, Secretary-General of the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council, gave a detailed explanation about several of the Council’s programs and projects, including the Nafis Award, its categories, and the stages of evaluation and selection for individual and corporate winners in the second cycle of the award.
The winners expressed their happiness in meeting His Highness the President, reaffirming their commitment to continuing their path of excellence to achieve the leadership’s vision and ambitions in empowering youth in the private sector.
The award aims to honor outstanding Emiratis working in the private sector, as well as private sector establishments registered with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation and the Central Bank of the UAE, which have demonstrated commitment to investing in Emirati talent.
