H.E. Ghannam Butti Al Mazrouei, Secretary General of the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council, emphasized that Emirati Women’s Day embodies respect and appreciation for the significant efforts of women in driving the nation’s development. This sentiment is reflected in this year’s theme, “We Collaborate for Tomorrow,” which underscores the importance of collective efforts to achieve sustainability and confidently advance toward a more prosperous future

In his remarks on the occasion of Emirati Women’s Day, celebrated annually on August 28, H.E. Al Mazrouei highlighted the outstanding contributions and leadership of Emirati women in various roles, beginning with their families, where they instill values and developmental principles, and extending to their valuable participation in the professional realm through various positions and responsibilities.

He added, “Thanks to the wise vision and continuous support of our leadership, which has been committed to empowering women and providing them with opportunities to be key partners in achieving comprehensive and sustainable development, Emirati women have been placed in decision-making roles and have actively contributed to advancing the national economy and shaping policies that elevate the UAE’s global standing.”

H.E. Al Mazrouei noted that Emirati women are now more present across all sectors, supported by initiatives and programs focusing on their empowerment and strengthening their role. Among these is the NAFIS program, a national initiative supporting women by facilitating their integration into the private sector, equipping them to excel in various roles, and assuming prominent leadership positions in this vital domain.

“We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the daughters and women of the UAE on their distinguished day, wishing them continued success, excellence, and leadership,” he concluded.
